June 6–7, 2026 – Two-day whitewater technique course for Level II and III paddlers.
Program
The course aims to improve technique and line selection on Class II and III rivers. Training will focus on whitewater techniques, river sensitivity, and trajectory work both on slalom sections and in natural river environments.
Who is it for?
The course is designed for Level II–III paddlers. The level refers to the river grade on which the paddler feels confident and comfortable.
Organization
- Two course sessions divided according to the group’s skill level, with a maximum of 5–6 participants per group.
The course will take place on Saturday and Sunday, June 6–7, 2026, with meeting point in Valstagna at:
- 9:30 AM for the first group
- 12:30 PM for the second group
On Sunday, the course will finish for everyone around 3:30–4:00 PM.
Each group session will last 3 hours. Groups will be organized according to individual skill levels and communicated shortly before the course.
Logistics
In Valstagna it is possible to sleep in a van or camper at the parking area near the river access point, or book accommodation nearby (Calieroni, Mondo, Hotel Contarini, Rafting Hotel).
A group dinner is planned for Saturday evening (optional and not included).
Costs and availability
The course fee is €120 for CanoaClubBologna members and €140 for non-members (including the 2026 membership card).
